I'm an independent communications consultant and freelance writer and editor with many years of experience and I trade under the name of Cahill Communications.
I've been in private practice since 2002, providing communications, writing and editing services for nearly 200 clients and agencies - both locally and internationally - and have a strong academic and business background.
I work with clients either directly or as a supplier to their agencies.
I specialise in corporate and media communications, developing integrated reporting suites, white papers and corporate profiles as well as media releases, editorial features, op-eds and thought-leadership pieces. I also develop web copy, social media content and a range of stakeholder communications, including results announcements.
From time to time, I edit business strategies and plans, management reports, specialist research reports, academic papers and conference presentations. I also train large language models (AI) and have worked on a number of large projects since 2022.
In my consulting work, I specialise in developing communications policy and key messaging guidelines.

Queries relating to projects of any nature, size or scope are welcome and there is no charge for taking a brief and developing a project proposal and cost estimate. I offer standard rates for media pieces and provide detailed quotes for larger projects based on the client's brief. Project costs are guaranteed unless there is a change in brief or scope.
